The Georis Winery was established in 1981. Since the first day, our commitment has been to produce well crafted "Estate" Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon wines of superior quality. Our wines reflect a St. Emilion and Pomerol influence. They are aged 18 months in Bordeaux chateau barrels and then held back for an additional year in bottles, prior to their release.

Georis Wines are full bodied, dark ruby in color with esters of vanilla, chocolate and violets. Our wines are extremely elegant, drinkable at release with the potential of aging twenty years.

The Georis Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are truly unique wines that reflects not only a philosophy of wine making but also the unique character of our vineyards in Carmel Valley.
